pub struct CidCaps {
pub max_len: usize,
pub charset: Charset,
pub native_bits: u32,
pub lossless: bool,
}Expand description
What the broker’s client order id field can hold, declared by a CidCodec.
The connector checks it at start. If the field cannot carry a UUID without loss, that is a
configuration error at start (Error::Config), never a degradation at run
time: an order whose cid cannot be read back cannot be tied to your ledger.
Fields§
§max_len: usizeLongest native string the broker’s field accepts, in characters.
charset: CharsetCharacters the field accepts.
native_bits: u32How many bits of the UUID the broker field can keep. 128 means the whole UUID.
lossless: booltrue when CidCodec::decode always gives back what CidCodec::encode was given.
